Kelly Harmon

Hello!

I am living in North Carolina and working as a full time student for the first time in many years. I think it will be a luxury to dedicate myself solely to class instead of dividing my attention between classes and teaching. I am nearing completion of my degree, this is my last full semester of classes.

I chose to take this course because I have always been interested in multimedia and I am excited by the prospect of being able to produce multimedia presentations. I do not have any specific plans for how I will utilize my newly gained multimedia creating skills but I am confident that they will be useful in the future especially with the burgeoning technology available.

I look forward to working with everyone this semester.

  1. Hi Kelly! How fortunate for you to be able to dedicate yourself to your own schooling full time. I've been plugging away at this program for almost 3 years, one class at a time, and am looking forward to completing it by the end of this year. The dream of not being and school while working full time seems so far away, but it is within sight. I see the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel.

Being able to produce multimedia presentations is going to be essential in working in educational technology, and although I too haven't quite targeted specifically how I will implement this new knowledge into my curriculum, I'm sure, as a result of our learning in this course, we both will find many uses for the knowledge we will be gaining here. Cheers! and I look forward to working with you.
